Since 1896, The Selmer Co. has designed and built almost every type of structure. Our buildings represent people dedicated to excellence -- and clients that trust us with the privilege of being their general contractor. Today, we are breaking new ground through innovations in construction methods, green building techniques, long-term warranties, financing and extended services.

The Selmer Co. is among the 15 largest full-service construction firms in the State of Wisconsin and the largest north of the Fox Cities. Our corporate headquarters is in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Selmer's core market area is the State of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. We also travel for our clients and have completed projects throughout the United States.

Our projects range from a few hundred dollars in value to multi-million dollar developments. We perform everything from small remodeling projects and complicated new construction to plant shut downs and machinery installations.

We provide planning, budgeting and value engineering, land procurement, debt and equity financing assistance, project management, design and engineering facilitation and coordination, general contracting, optical and laser alignment, troubleshooting, machinery maintenance, machine installations, rebuilds, and equipment moving and setting.

Financial
Projected fiscal 2004 sales to exceed $55 million.

Employment
We perform the following trades with our own workforce: demolition, millwright maintenance, concrete/cement finishing, masonry, carpentry, steel erection, rigging, and machinery installations including optical and laser alignment.

Quality Assurance and Safety
Through ongoing weekly meetings and monthly strategic planning, we are actively involved in group problem solving, process evaluations, goal setting, training, documentation of processes, and education.

We received safety honors from the Associated General Contractors (AGC) for the past seven years. We have a corporate safety director and an outside safety consultant that prepare and administer safety programs, incentives, and enforce company policies. We have maintained one of the best safety records of any general contractor in the State of Wisconsin.
